To help you make the most of your rental with Budget, we have compiled a list of some of the most common questions renters need answered. Please review the questions below and click on the links to find the answers to the items that interest you.

GENERAL

  • Can I make car/truck reservations through this web site?

     

    Yes, you can. At the moment, however, we only cater to car reservations.

  • Can I specify the model of the car I would like to rent?

     

    Our vehicle’s make and model are based upon availability. Please advise the counter representative of your preference when you arrive to pick up your rental vehicle. If the vehicle is available, we will be happy to accommodate your preference.

  • How can I change or cancel my reservation?

     

    You can use this web site to change or cancel a reservation. Simply choose the required option through the Quotes & Bookings section of our website

  • Is there a charge if I change or cancel my reservation?

     

    here is no charge if reservations are cancelled one day prior to your pickup date.

  • What do I need to bring with me to the counter to rent a car?

     

    Clients who wish to rent a vehicle need to present international credit cards (if any), valid Identification cards, a passport, driver’s license. Drivers with an overseas license must provide their country license, international license, and passport.

     

  • Can I drive the car outside Metro Manila?

     

    Yes, but all vehicles rented out by Budget cannot be used for inter-island trips, or for trips to flooded and lahar areas.

  • How do I extend my rental and will it change my rate?

     

    To extend your rental, you must contact or visit our main office. Our office is open Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Any changes made in your rental may change the rate.

  • What should I do if I have an accident or the vehicle breaks down?

     

    First contact the police to complete an accident report and contact us immediately. If the car breaks down, please check the back of your contract for a phone number. If a number is unavailable, please contact us or if you need police assistance, please call 117.

  • Can I rent a car with an International driver’s license?

     

    All expatriates are allowed to drive in the Philippines using their international licenses for three months. Please make sure that your international driver’s license has a photo of yourself and that you also present your passport when you rent a vehicle. However, the majority of the vehicles we rent to clients here in the Philippines come with a chauffer.

  • Can I bring my pets in a Budget vehicle?

     

    Currently, we do not allow clients to bring pets inside our vehicles.

  • I'm traveling with a child. Do I bring my own child safety seat?

     

    We can provide child safety seats for clients as part of the accessories included in every car rental.

  • How do I select a pick-up location?

     

    Find a location name from the Drop Down list to find the nearest location. Then click on the location you would like a quote from.

  • Can I return the vehicle to a different location?

     

    If you would like to return the vehicle to a location different to the one you picked up the vehicle from, un-tick the I’LL RETURN VEHICLE TO THE SAME LOCATION box and enter your drop off location.

  • What do I do if I’m aged under 25?

     

    If your aged under 25, un-tick the I’M 25+ box and select your age.

  • How do I enter the pick-up and drop off dates?

     

    Enter a pick up and return date simply by clicking in the Pick up and Return boxes (a drop down calendar will appear) and then select the time you would like to pick up and drop off the vehicle.

     

     

  • I’m a Fastbreak member, where do I enter my details?

     

    If your a Fastbreak member, select I HAVE A FASTBREAK / RAPIDREZ # (under Optional Info) and enter your Fastbreak number and surname in the fields provided.

  • My company has a corporate rate, where do I enter the details?

     

    If you’re an employee of a company that has contracted rates with Budget, select the I HAVE A CORPORATE ACCOUNT OR BCD (under Optional Info) and enter your companies unique identifier (either a direct PIN, ACTO/OTTO or a BCD number).

  • I have been given a BCD (Budget Customer Discount number) to quote, where do I enter this?

     

    Select the I HAVE A CORPORATE ACCOUNT OR BCD (under Optional Info) and enter the BCD number.

  • I belong to a Frequent Flyer program, where do I enter my membership details?

     

    Select the I AM A FREQUENT FLYER(under Optional Info) and select the program you belong to and enter your membership number. If you’re a Fastbreak member, these details will be attached to your profile and you do not have to enter these details.

  • How do I modify my existing reservation?

     

    From the home page, click on “view-change-cancel” under the RESERVATION tab. Then simply enter your reservation number and surname. Your rental will be displayed for you, select those components of your reservation that you would like to alter. You will then be asked to confirm the changes.

  • How do I cancel my existing reservation?

     

    From the home page, click on “view-change-cancel” under the RESERVATION tab. Then simply enter your reservation number and surname. You will then be given an option to cancel your reservation.

  • How do I view my existing reservation?

     

    From the home page, click on “view-change-cancel” under the RESERVATION tab. Then simply enter your reservation number and surname. Your reservation details will be displayed for you.

  • What is a BCD?

     

    A BCD is a Budget customer discount number. If you have a BCD, please ensure that you enter it when you are making a reservation.

  • What is a RapidRez or Fastbreak Number?

     

    A RapidRez or Fastbreak number is a number, which is specific to you and enables us to recognise you and your preferred details when you are a regular renter with Budget. It means you only need to sign one master rental agreement with Budget and then you can rent with us faster; avoid queues, paperwork, and save time, by not having to sign a rental agreement every time you rent with us.
